Hauler's Handbook

Lunar Freight Dispatch · form LFD-661 · please read before derailing

Your rig

You are Big Iron, driver of hauler J-35661: forty thousand tons of classified cargo, three rails wide of road, and two cab lasers that point wherever you point.

Controls

MOUSE	aim the crosshair
CLICK	fire the cab lasers (hold for auto-fire)
A / D, ← / →	switch rails
SPACE	fire at the crosshair
TOUCH	tap to fire; tap < > on the dash to switch rails
M / P / ESC	mute / pause / skip a cutscene

Threats

Crater Rat gunships hover, strafe and fire plasma. Three hits.
Drones dive straight at your cab. One hit. Do not let them arrive.
Rocks fall onto the rails. Switch rails or blast them.
Derailed ore cars block a rail. Switch, or put eight shots into them.
Plasma bolts can be shot down for a bonus.

Gauges

SHIELD soaks up hits and recharges when nobody is hitting you. CARGO does not recharge. When CARGO hits 0%, you've lost the load. Shoot or drive through the cyan shield cells.

The run

Three sectors: the Imbrium Freight Line, the Copernicus Cut and the Tycho Night Run. Each ends with a boss gunship. Aim for the glowing bit. Between sectors there are transmissions from Dispatch, and from someone who wants your road.

Classified

There is a cheat code. It's a job title. Type it during the game. Ground Control will know what to do.
